Taming items

I’m supposed to go tame a slime but the trap and bait r not in my inventory and can not figure out where to get more bait

buy the trap at the city you get the taming quest in its in the fletchers shop i believe (from memory its one of the doors under the main street archway

I've read that Ham is the bait for slimes, but I haven't tried it myself. Thwere was a bug at one time where summoning the slime pet made inventory items disappear, so I'd check that before summoning one first.

Yep, never seen any on sale that I can remember.

I tamed small slime using ham as bait for small trap yesterday. it works.

killing piigs gets you raw ham, yes.

I just put the small cage between me and the slime. As it came to attack me, it hopped into the cage. No food needed.
