You don't need a book for Necromancy. Just spend a point on the first Necromancy spell. The first two books were just to get you started off with magic as a new player.

even to do the rune minigame? that's what I'm trying to do right now, got some cool necromancy spells already

I have some nice spells too - got my first raise dead spell, yay - and never had to do the runebook minigame.

I kinda enjoy the minigame, it's pretty unique
beats skyrims "watch a bar go up and your gold go down" equivalent

How does the mini game work ? I tried to pick up a few books but nothing happens.

Interact with a bookshelf. Hold E to carry a book to a table and drop it there. Sit down, a window opens up and click pyromancy (red book) or cryomancy (blue book). The rune minigame will start.

yeah i think the minigame is really fun. I wish it was a bit more rewarding as you got better at it though. If anyone finds books for more magics let me know.

There is not one just yet, it was still not put in the game at this time, the dialogue is a just a placeholder.
