Spot on. Doesn't sound TOO hard when you put it like that. Hopefully that will help the guy out. 😉
People want no minor inconveniences in games these days, sigh. I mean, you don't even have to do a corpse run either in this game! I still remember corpse runs in EQ! and having to cross entire zones sometimes, with no gear at all, NO ingame maps (they weren't a thing then) and no mounts. It was just run and try to remember the tree you died beside. 😄
Nektulos Forest corpse runs stay in my memory even now, about 25 years later. The times I found my corpse only to realise it wasn't the one with my gear on it - I usually ended up with so many scattered about.
You can also quick-save with U (The next update will introduce auto-saves and an option to rebind the quick-save key)
Visit cities! There's plenty of shops where you can buy clothing, weapons and armor! (:
Lower Guk. Ugh. Nice to see another old timer about. Camp something for 12 hours, just to die and have to spend another couple hours retrieving corpse. Don't really miss it, tbh. lol
Same, but I think players back then were more stoic and didn't need any hand-holding or a game made so easy it may as well have had the classic big red "I win" button. Mind you, it was so tough that it fostered a REALLY helpful community!
