Wher was this?
My issue is i cant find the last ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ prisoner anywhere.. im 14/15
If there is an npc that explains it, please show me.
Lockpicking is cake.
It isn't explained though.
Without booting up a game I will attempt to explain what I know but although I find it easy I am not sure I understand it fully so take it all with a grain of salt.
In essence you are pressing the button and watching the lock in the middle.
When you are in the correct position it will shrink and disappear to unlock.
When you press the button the lock can be tinted green or red. Red is a fail. Green is best but I do not know precisely when it changes or why. Seems like a basic premise but it's strangely odd. The green and red just don't seem very distinct.
To move the lockpick you press A and D. This will rotate it around the lock.
So you move it around and test it with very quick presses of the button.
You are looking for it to 1) be green 2) shrink quickly.
If it is red and/or does not shrink then move along until it does.
I usually test it in the 4 cardinal positions, top bottom and both sides and go from there.
Usually I can get it with the one lockpick but if I am going to fail I back out of the attempt and save the pick. I think this resets the position but I am not sure. Lockpicks are plentiful so breaking them isn't a real issue. Once you start finding the locks there are usually many lockpicks around to loot.
Good luck.
It's really easy.
You only need to test every 45 degrees around the circle.
I do every 90 and if that fails come back and fill in the other 4.
Just press very quickly and release. The padlock will either shrink or not shrink.
There are a lot of sealed rooms so you should give it another try.
There is no shortage of lockpicks around so never panic about those but I try not to break them anyway. If you are quick even testing all 8 positions wont break one and you should get it before then.
I have always gotten it in those 8 positions. Since I figured that out I have not failed one. Usually get it in the first 4 90 degree ones and rarely need to come back around to fill the gaps.
Good luck. I know it's $hite if you are doing it like Fallout 4 and tiny adjustments each time but try like I said and it's cake.
I had to find from another thread that A and D move it FFS!
Lastly the NO EXIT is completely bogus!
These stupid minigames SHOULD go to auto after a certain level as they're ALL just tedious and NOT fun at all. I'd prefer a dice roll skill check to begin with anyways, with you get a little xp for each check, and more if you're successful, and just cannot do a certain level of difficulty above your current skill level... e.g. ala morrowind/daggerfall...
My worst game that I KNOW how to do is the fishing minigame(which I universally loathe in every game that has one) is that the slider is either stupidly slow or moving at supralight speed... even at stupidly fast, I usually manage to finish it, but its gonna kill my mouse before long... or a controller button if I were using one...
