farm parford lake the mausoleum on center island will get you mass parchment /skulls/bones and has good ore spot too

I’m very late to this thread but I did find an easier way to find old parchment. Well 2 ways. 1) there is a building in the Flowing Sands region that is like a school and has tons of old parchment. At least 100 pieces throughout the building. Land marks aren’t easy to find but I believe it was up on a hill or a separate island in the region and had a lot of baskets with 6 pieces of parchment in each and at least 10 baskets in one upstairs room. 2) The easier way is to build the general store and the merchant sells it there.
