Mining picks

Does anyone know where I can find mining picks? I need the quarry so I don't have to go out mining resources all the time.

There are no tools. Just go to the node. and hit e

You need them to build the quarry building. I'm not sure where to get them either.

We need tools to build buildings that we want or need.

I have found a couple in boxes and chests. I think they are just rare.

I finally pieced it together and found the mining picks you need for the quarry.

The mining pick can be found from the randomly spawning outlaw mining operation. One post said they can be found by the lake close to the starting location, implying it was part of the map. But this location is a spawn location and these groups of outlaws spawn all over the map. Simply go to game overhead map and wander an area and wait for the map events to spawn up. Not Gobln, Not Bandits, Not Lionmanne. Not Mining hotspot, Not Goblin Den. Not Forest hotspot. YOU WANT OUTLAW MINING. I got at least 8 picks out of the spot.

has anyone with the quary or luber jack house ever noticed how they received the promised resources?
because i havent seen any notice or message of it.
does it go straight to my inventory or what ?

PS: to answer your question

where ive found the most tools is when youre roaming the overworld map and find the event wich is calles something like enemy logging outpost or so.
consider yourself lucky because not only will you find tools but also a ♥♥♥♥ ton of wood.

When you are in your keep, you can go to the board to your left when you spawn in and there should be a window that pops up. On the bottom left side you'll see a bunch of resources and a button that says 'take all', just click that and all the stuff that your town has generated will be added to your inventory.

This may sound counter-intuitive but I found 11 mining picks in a hostile logging camp (a random event that can appear in the overworld)
