EPIC Store

Cant enter matchmaking. When I press "Play battle royale" The search notification pops up for 0.2 seconds then dissapears.

When I go to custom games theres no button to join and all lobbies have 4 red bars.

Update 2:

"Ok so matchmaking is finally operational as intended! It can still take a short while to get into a game but you should always find a game now after 2-4 minutes. Enjoy! Of course we are still hard at work to fix many more bugs. Stay tuned!"

EXP gain is disabled for now.

1000+ players search no matchmaking

I was in a 2000+ queue for matchmaking, then it was cancelled saying I needed to close the game for an update. Closed the game, there was no update, started it again, and now I get the same issue as you. I don't think they were ready to surpass their all time highest peak in a couple hours of epic release and their servers are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ a brick (Just a guess)

yeah looked like a fun game to not going to be able to play it anytime soon though now :3

im one of the epic store tourists and I can't even play, no queue even opens up when I click on battle royale, and custom matches don't work either, everyone is bugged

I try the battle royal, but i cant even get into a match ? No players i guess

Same problem, I managed to play 2 royal games over the hosted servers, but it's such a pain to find a game that is not in motion already, for some reason it allows you to join the already started game, so people end up confused swimming around the map and searching for their ship, which does not exist.

It's a pity, I find it amusing and I am sure if they kept it for free they would get a player base quickly. The game is so much fun.

Also I read somewhere someone updated the game 2 days ago after a long while, so they broke the matchmaking. They said they fixed that over the weekend, but seems like its not fixed. Not sure if that is the case.

Hope they fix it, until then it seems like a waste of time.
