Game Wont Open (WMVideo Decoder - Windows 10 Pro)

I own a Windows 10 Pro computer and Im having issues with the WMVideo Decoder error. Everything I have found to fix it is for windows 10/11 N which is... not what I have.

I have the same issue, and have Windows 10 home. Not N. Have tried reinstalling Windows Media Player, the game itself, verifying game files, k-lite codec pack, nothing has worked so far. Just get the WMVideo Decoder error box, then the game won't display (even tho it seems to be otherwise running?) This is a recent error, it was working fine for most of the game (no idea if a Windows Update broke this, or what). Any help would be so so appreciated!
