But if you want to go through the first chapter anyway, Story Mode, which you can enable in the settings, might be the best choice, because it allows you to just leave the case play by itself without having to do anything at all (although note that you won't get the achievement for finishing the chapter by using Story Mode), and you could also set the text scrolling speed to the fastest in the settings.
According to the store page, TGAA:C was verified on the Steam Deck and performs well on it.
I know it's not a fast way. But, it is a option if you don;t like the options the game gives you to skip chapters or whatever the game uses. I don't mind speed running the first chapter since, it's not that long. Maybe 20 ish minutes if you know what your doing without repeating dialogue and what not.
