Played first chapter on switch, want to try on steam, ideas on just bashing through?

Tbh i cant really be bothered to play it again through the first chapter, normally at least. It's like a book where i just don't enjoy it replayed.

Any ideas for just skipping through stuff? I'm thinking guide open, 'fast forward' on?

Also, does it work well for steam deck?

If I'm not mistaken, you can start from any chapter you want, so you just have to select the second one. They're all unlocked, even without completing anything.

But if you want to go through the first chapter anyway, Story Mode, which you can enable in the settings, might be the best choice, because it allows you to just leave the case play by itself without having to do anything at all (although note that you won't get the achievement for finishing the chapter by using Story Mode), and you could also set the text scrolling speed to the fastest in the settings.

According to the store page, TGAA:C was verified on the Steam Deck and performs well on it.

You could assuming your on the origional black joy con switch model. Dump your iso and save file. Run yuzu on the steam deck port the save to the save folder in the c:user/ appdata/ roaming/ yuzu/ save data folder. An continue where you left off. To skip the first level.

I know it's not a fast way. But, it is a option if you don;t like the options the game gives you to skip chapters or whatever the game uses. I don't mind speed running the first chapter since, it's not that long. Maybe 20 ish minutes if you know what your doing without repeating dialogue and what not.
