Is there a way to use 3DS-style touchscreen controls on Steam Deck?
I'm trying the demo. The settings list touchsreen sensitivity as an option but when I touch the Deck's screen it seems to be emulating a mouse instead. It's very different from the way Picross 3D controls.

edit: I found a way to put the Deck in native touchscreen mode (When in-game, go to Steam's controller settings > Edit layout > Action Sets > Gear icon > Add Always-On command > Add command > System > Touchscreen Native Support) but the game doesn't recognize the input properly.

What do you mean by "doesn't recognize the input properly"? It's still doing the mouse emulation with these options enabled?

If I enable Touchscreen Native Support in the Steam Input options as described above, the game stops working with touch input. It’s almost entirely nonfuctional.

If I disable Touchscreen Native Support and put everything back to the default options, the game works with the Deck’s touchscreen again but the controls are very different to how the stylus worked in Picross 3D. It’s more like the touchscreen is emulating mouse, I even see a mouse cursor where I press my finger.

There was a setting on my side for steam deck that I wasn't aware of, that turned touch into left-click emulation. I've changed it to enable touch screen as Voxelgram supports it.

However playing with touch on SteamDeck screen size will probably not be a great experience. It was designed more for mobile/switch without controllers size of device.

Oh well, I don’t have a way to play on a bigger touchscreen. Not unless there’s a secret iPad port :)

It’s a cool game otherwise. I really miss Picross 3D.
