have you tried the workshop?
Dragonbait Jun 12, 2020 @ 7:57am
Yes, completed all 911 from the workshop :)

now that's dedication. there are a bunch of very good 2d nonograms on steam.

Picross Touch can keep you busy for a VERY long time. And it's free!

Have you tried Globesweeper or any of the Hexcells games?

there's also delete, less flat than hexcells, but same general idea.

That is impressive. Sadly currently your only choice would be to go 2D. I really liked Pictopix, it was the game that got me to make Voxelgram.

I had completed all these, though looking at it there are more workshop puzzles again now!

try these (the first has workshop support and triangle-based puzzles):
https://store.steampowered.com/app/745650/Cross_Pixels/
https://store.steampowered.com/app/642650/Peppers_Puzzles/
https://store.steampowered.com/app/799110/Picrastination/

and this, but only one puzzle's progress can be saved at a time, but it has a demo:
https://store.steampowered.com/app/385250/Paint_it_Back/

only played the demos of these so far, but it also means they have demos and the two bought together is cheaper:
https://store.steampowered.com/app/1092780/Depixtion/
https://store.steampowered.com/app/1132510/Depixtion_Halloween/

everything else on steam (except pictopix, already mentioned) has various issues, like mandatory timers, no saving mid-level progress, missing basic functionality, etc. so wouldn't bother with those.

Thanks! I completed a Paint it back on mobile, but the rest are new to me :)

I'd also like more, also completed all of them. Tried to make some on my own, but as soon as I had the program set up, I remembered that I'm not creative at all XD And tries to voxelify existing models just fell flat because at that resolution automatic conversion just doesn't work.

Anyway, if you look for 2D nonograms, I can really recommend Griddlers Plus on Android. It has an insane amount of puzzles. I played it on the way to work for years and still have finished just about half of them (there are, currently, 7668 puzzles and new ones come in every now and then)
Tho I don't know how good to play it is on a phone screen. I mean, I played it on a phone, but on the Note 3, which is rather large, with a pen. Probably a bit small at times for fingers. But eh, try it out, it's free, I think you just pay for ad removal (which I did a long time ago)

On mobile I think Nonograms Katana is great; actually, you can play it through their website too (https://nonograms-katana.com/) and progress is saved to the cloud between devices (good for the really large puzzles that are difficult to do on a small phone screen).

.projekt is great. I didn't mention it because it's not 'pure' nonogram.
