General Questions :)

I have a few general questions and would be immensely grateful if someone could help me with it :)

1. does it affect the behavior of the players when they are alcoholic? So does it increase the profit from gambling if you bet on 0$ at the bar for example?
2. does it bring anything to change the winning ratio of the table games? So, do I get more profit if I change the blackjack odds from 3:2 to 6:5? If so, does that scare players away?
3. no one eats in my buffet area even though there are all types of buffets including pizza, the food counters are FILLED, everything is busy and people could eat, they just don't.
4. do bars where alcohol is sold cheaply bring more players to the casino? Do slots with low odds bring more players to the casino?
5. are there tutorials on the game conditions? For example, the default setting in baccarat is 8:1 on a bet on a draw and in craps 4:1 on any seven, but the game doesn't give me any instructions on what the differences are, what other ratios there are and what advantages they have. Why does the game give me this setting option if I don't even know how to set it and it doesn't explain what I can set there and what my options are?
That overwhelms me a bit and I come from Germany. Here there is gambling practically everywhere. In the city of Gera there are, just in the city center 5 slot casinos + 2 sports betting bars, and this is a medium-sized city with 90k inhabitants :D

1. alcoholic guests gain confidence quicker and have some other quirks to make them a bit easier to profit from in gambling. It also allows them to use the dance floor.
2. odds directly affect the house advantage, and therefore your chances of making a profit. Higher advantage is a higher profit, but does put players off.
3. Every map is different - some players say they have too many at the buffet. is no one hungry? do you have vending machines or retail patrol workers serving them instead? are your bars full with people buying snacks there?
4. prices just affect customer satisfaction and how many will buy it.
5. I recommend looking up table game odds online. It's explained for slot machines in the tutorial as the example, not table games but similar idea.

1) Alcohol does affect the players
2) changing the payout ratios to favor the house does effect the frustration with the players
3) with the last few updates and meal times set 3 times a day they should be eating in the buffets. If not please upload your save with the in game bug reporter
4) odds help keep players in the casino longer and they also come back. This does allow them to spend more money. On Slots it also helps build player confidence so they will play higher betting slots
5) since LVGameDev is based in Las Vegas the rules of the game most likely follow Las Vegas, Nevada rules. You can look them up on the internet pretty easy

Also odds for table games do not change much. You can change the payouts, but really to change the odds you would have to add more card decks or add another number to roulette for example. The game does not let you change those options.

I noticed that nobody was eating at my buffet. But loads was queueing at my snack machines, the second i removed them, the buffet started getting used. May be this is the cause.
