Consider whether the issue is not enough people playing them, or the advantage is too low, or if the play costs are simply too little per game - is my advice.
You should have a good number of machines (draws in more gamblers) and have them at different price points so hit different confidence ranges. If you only had $10 slots, for example, very few would walk in the door with the confidence to try them. Cheaper slots require less confidence and with low advantage, can build confidence to try more expensive machines.
Every machine isn't going to be profitable every day. If you tried to make it so, everyone would be frustrated and stop playing. You need feeder machines that get people feeling bold and then take that money back from the more expensive machines.
I like to think of it as building a staircase up where the cheap machines are really easy to win at but it gets increasingly more difficult as it gets more expensive so if they make it to the top level, they give you everything the won back and more.
x7 Random Slot games @ $2.00 with a jackpot of $1000 ( to start off) and the max 9 percentage for the house advantage (can't go higher at the start of the game without research).
after that i build about 10-14 of the $2.00 @ $1000 jackpots with 9% house...
THEN - I'll either build another row or two of the $2.00 or go straight to the $5.00 with the max $10,000 jackpot and whatever max house advantage you can set...I'm a Greedy SOB so i don't really like letting my customers get more than the 4% jackpot chance on the double bet win...
I'll also throw in a row of $10.00 for $20,000.00 jackpot prize but you'll need the higher gambling limit and most likely you'll want to research up to at least 15% house advantage.
I rock 18% for the $5.00 machines and up.....the $2.00 machines I'll mess around with a row or two with the random odds, but ideally I stick to the 15% house advantage for the $2.00 slots.
TO AVOID GAMBLING ALL TOGETHER - AND GENERATE A STUPID AMOUNT OF CASH EARLY and QUICK IN the beginning.....I would suggest building a GIANT BINGO HALL and charging $15.00 with the prize set to $250.00.
You'll be earning 6 figures with a very SMALL pay out at the end of each day compared to the gamlbing folks who I must say are not always worth pleasing.
Hotel + Entertainment Bingo (not including booking shows which I don't feel are worth the wasted space compared to the potential dollar earn for the real estate). seems to generate a MUCH better source of income. No criminals, and a much better return on your investment with a quicker turn around.
Slots and tables just bring problems and an inconsistent source of income.
That being said it's SIM CASINO - so go build a fun casino lol.
as a regular rule of thumb, i tend to start off with the following set up:
