Slot Question
So one of my slots is showing something like 3k inside it under coins and notes, is this money already counted towards my balance or do I have a load of money to come in still?

Also it would be nice when you hover over a slot it gives you the profit and loss at a glance so you know what you have put down is earning you money

Great game so far with lots of potential but I think in some respects it needs to be made clearer with the money side and how it works

I have this issue with many slots, AFAIK the money sitting in a slot machine does not (yet) count towards your cash. It's supposed to be collected by security staff and taken to the vault, where it will be added to your vault total.

I have a problem however where several machines don't ever seem to be collected -- I've got tens of thousands of $$$ sitting uncollected in my high limit room slots for several days so far.

The cash collection mechanic is something I'd really like the devs to overhaul entirely -- in a real casino, cash/tickets are collected by a drop team on a regular schedule, typically by floor zone at off-off-off-peak times (like 4 in the morning...) A security team will take a cash cart from machine to machine on a route, collecting all of the BV cans and replacing them with empty ones, then take the cart to the back of house for processing (not one machine at a time back and forth to the vault as the sim currently seems to). Doing something similar in game would likely clear up a number of issues related to cash handling on the slot floor. :-)

I think that is my issue too! There is no way my casino is losing money, there has to be something wrong with them collecting the cash and how its counted. Also the Housekeeping is broken at the moment.

The money has to be filled in the vault, once the armored truck comes its added to your overall account when it hits the bank.

The accounting leaves a lot to be desired at the moment. The dichotomy between the vault, bank, and the machines on the floor is bizarre at best...you're never sure if you're making or losing money. Additionally, I'm not entirely sure the slot machine "odds" math is right or not.

I am starting out, and I am stuck on Day 2. The security guards won't get money out of the slots (over $20,000) so I can't advance my casino. I am stuck with only about $4,000 money in the bank and $25,000 in the vault.

How often does the armoured truck come?
How do you get security guards to empty the slot machines?
How often does the ATMs need to be filled? It seems that the security guards take money out of the lower bet amount slots to refill the ATMs, but never go to the higher bet slots.

I love the concept of the game, but I am stuck on Day 2 of the game.

I know how it works, but its not doing that, it seems to be skipping a lot of the transfers.

I actually just found this. In the lower left corner, next to your casino name, click on the button to the left (looks like a bunch of squares on top of each other with an up arrow next to it), then select Gaming Overlay - Total Wagers. Hover your mouse over the machine/table and it gives you details for that machine for yesterday and today including how much it took in, how much it paid out, and how many spins it had.
