Hold up a second please. Am I getting this right? We can play chess against AI in this game now? Like on an actual chessboard or is it in text only? I will either skeet skeet a little or fumes of ash and cinder will cloud my cranium over this.

ok it did not kill my saves, it killed the entire game, it crashes I cant even play a new game...
stop patching dudes...

Haha I literally just restarted my game and when I wanted to launch it again, it was updating. What're the odds.

To all the people complaining about it killing saves, literally just go:

Right click Crusader Kings III in your Steam library
Click on properties
Click on betas
From the dropdown menu, find 1.6 (castle)

i know i could just revert back to 1.6, but the AI not waging any holy wars kills the enjoyment a little bit

Its just a text box with what has happened in the game on the top and three options that remain the same no matter what on the bottom. Those options are tied to learning, martial or intrigue when doing your "moves" so you can try to play to the strengths of your character in that regard I guess.

Ok sweet. Alot of the reasons I stopped playing are fixed. Dont even care about broken saves because they were broken to begin with. Thanks team.

I would give it up Im pretty sure the updated and expected code clashes big time depending on what year you are on.
