would be very interesting to see not only more in depth cosmetics but ability to interact like in Sims or so in the castle or owneded property.

Ability to control yourself. Quite interesting stuff that would be.
Please tell me the micromanaging BS is optional.

I don't CARE about holding court, and I wouldn't have bought the season pass if I had known this would be the main focus of the first major expansion this game gets.

Honestly, I want to create outlandish culture mixes. That's pretty much all this expansion has that peaks my interest. The artifact system seems like a flashier, more tedious version of the one from CK2.

Having a "condition meter" for items in video games is the worst idea since deep-fried ♄♄♄♄.
I can suffer it in Fallout because that game at least lets me use generic weapons to repair better ones.

I don't want ANOTHER subscription service from Paradox.
"Pay regularly or item gets ravaged by time".
Like, you've already bled me dry IRL, do you really have to do it in-game as well?
Curious whether there will be anything done to balance or counteract the costs of court upgrades. If maintenance is as high as what was shown in the video, adding another castle building isn't going to cut it.
No tribal courts? Are you ♄♄♄♄♄♄♄♄ me?

I almost exclusively play Ireland. First I get shafted with the Vikings going beserk all over the place in the first DLC and now I get another blast to the anus with the main feature not even existing in the second DLC.
Actually no Tribal courts? What?
No Tribal courts? Why?
I mean, why not?

Costs scale with your size and that is why it was so expensive. The Holy Roman Empire begins at a higher scale. You don't have many buildings built at the start too. By the time you develop up, it'll be much easier to pay for things.

A small land would have much lower expectations and costs. In a test run, I brought Haestinn to southern India. He controls Sri Lanka and Chola. His overall costs for amenities are 3.20 per month since he has a very small kingdom.
So it is rather connected to realm size and primary title. Though my question is that how customizable is the court/inside of the castle aesthetically? Can you visualise the castle gardens or is it just for the inside of the castle? And will every castle look same size? I mean not every castle is same in irl. It would be a huge improvement overall if there is different places that you can actually visualise like kitchens, dungeons church/mosque etc. Like I really do want to parade along those rooms 24/7 if there will be. That would impressively immerse the experience imho. But we all know it's too soon for such an semi open world castle/realm management sim gameplay mechanics and pretty pointless for a 4x strategy game. If anyone knows a sandbox/CYOA/RPG sim game like this let me know. :dsfist:

Every court has three visual levels that change based on grandeur level. Eventually you'll see furniture besides the artifacts you can put within it. The only interior is inside the court itself.
Seems cool, but doesn't feels like is worth the value of the DLC, specially over here in my country. Wish more companies would release complete games like in the old days... Specially one such as CK that has simple graphics and mechanics
