a starter pack without royal court, essential DLC

Would starting players really be interested in T&T and F&F? These dlcs are really for mid-late game large dynasties or starting as one. Which new players probably won't enjoy jumping into right away. Starting as a count or duke you'll be too broke to host grand activities for quite some time. Also one probably shouldn't start a feud if you only have 5 dynasty members...

Anyway, glad I got the Royal Edition before it went away. If it included W&W it would have been perfect.

I think you need to go and check what's in the Starter pack, because it doesn't include Royal Court, Northern Lords, or Fate of Iberia - all of which were present in Royal Edition. They're not getting what you got and more, they're getting a completely different selection of items.

This has more included than I have...

I don't envy the people making mods for this game. Every time I boot up the game something has broken due to x/y DLC and needs an additional x hours of replacing the mods before having to restart. Frustrating.

Just give me the Chapter I bundle. The sale I was going to buy it, you got rid of it and bundled it with Chapter 2 releases which have very low or no discounts, making the older DLC more expensive to buy. Might be worth more to buy Northern Lords, Royal Court and Fate of Iberia individually on a sale and then wait for Chapter II DLCs to get better sales rather than buy the Collection.

And you have Royal Court and Fate of Iberia which this Edition don't have. It's just a Royal Edition with different DLCs. Even worse is that it doesn't take in consideration that you might already own the game, so it's as useless as Royal Edition was for anyone that already own the game.

Edit: Just checked again, this edition also don't have Northern Lords and only have 1 actual DLC, the other one is the very optional Friends and Foes. So, who bought the Royal Edition actually got a better deal than anyone who buys this edition. Wow.

I'm sorry but the prices are getting crazy and I just can't keep up. Guess I'll wait for a few years and see if they end up on sale for a more reasonable price

Sales are perfectly planned by PDX and utilized to hook more players. You must wait for PDX' bankruptcy. But yeah, in 5 years it is possible. They are working hard for it and show no responsibility for their company. Bigger companies failed and they aren't even big.
