This game seems to be going well... Unfortunately, I'm pretty impatient and more into simple games, but hopefully someday I'll work up the courage to play more of this.

honestly all i want is:
-more bookmarks
-changing in-game music (like eu4)
-pandemic lock downs
-more major decisions

What is this? Who really cares about the start screen? It's an irrelevance really. I care about the gameplay which there is still very little of 2 years after release. I just want start dates, more historical flavour and real life historical characters/cultures/traditions etc. I want to be immersed in the history that I'm trying to roleplay in and I want more things to do.

Since Imperator this company has continously slid downhill in my humble opinion. I don't understand what's happened? Is it a different staff since your older games? So overly focused on UI on every game and update (that looks ugly anyway) and reddit memes. There's very little history or strategy in your historical grand strategy games anymore. CK3 was admittedly in the best release state of all the games you have released for a long time and was a good starting point if overly simplified and bare bones. 2 years later though and there is still very little content and what content we do get it's like you're completely deaf to the suggestions of your fanbase. It's always "we have no plans for this but here's something you neither want nor asked for".

It's like you don't even make games for your own fanbase anymore and with your DLC policy continuing as it is and releasing games in an early access state, I don't see how you are going to attract new fans, never mind keeping your old ones. Please just go back to being old Paradox. CK2 is one of my favourite games of all time.

I get how you feel, my friend, but sometimes you just gotta let go. You will get this vacuum in your being for a while, but it's gonna be filled with something else eventually. Otherwise you'll just be propagating your own Stockholm syndrome, which is never good. At this point you just have to admit to yourself: Paradox will never make a good game from this moment on. Even calling CK3 a good game is a stretch and a massive cope. Just let go, you'll feel better soon enough.

lol I have given up already at this point that any future release will be worth buying, Vic3 was the final nail for me, I'm glad I got to try it before wasting money. I still have the smallest bit of faith that there's a game in CK3 that can be saved though. It's playable with a ton of mods but its way too easy, way too simple, too little content and I'm bored by the time I get to my Grandkids. One small thing that would instantly add playtime is some kind of Empire and HRE mechanic because playing as an empire or even playing inside one is extremely boring. There is so much they could add here.

Are you serious ? Biggest thing is change in bookmarks screen. I presume developers not tired too much during creation of such important patch.

I didn't even notice custom rulers didn't have saving a preset as feature until now, of course more basic features being resold is annoying.

Please add claims to custom ruler design, I really like to play with custom rulers but it's a pain that he doesn't start with the original or even custom claims.
