Game keeps crashing when trying to load. It gets to the world map then craps itself. Can't even send the damn bug report either cause it keeps screwing up too

Since the update the games I created after Royal Court ver. 1.5 were no longer accessible with 1.51. That really honked me off. Going through the motions to fix things, I found my NVidia drivers needed an update. I just had 5 days ago but--well--OK. Appears to have fixed the access problem for me. Your mileage may vary.

Jesus people, just roll back the patch. Properties, beta tab. It's a useless patch but you can avoid it.

I am not quite sure what happened but I wanted to note that a. clicking on the culture innovation screen crashes the game and b. I had 'on death's doorstep' with one of my characters when I did the update and now have had three consecutive characters bite the dust with the same feature. I don't think this is assassination or anything, the game is just making them all be on death's doorstep and not noticing when they die.

The phrase “when I did the update” makes me think you’re playing on an old save from 1.4. Could just be how my brain reads it though, so if that’s not the case, please ignore. If that is the case however, it’s usually advised to start a new game between major updates like this was as they usually don’t mesh together well.

My game now crashes any time I try to start a new game or create a customer ruler.

All these people reporting crashes but I've noticed no additional problems since the patch. 🤔

I currently have not bought the royal court but have downloaded the culture system. Is the hybridize / split culture option only possible by buying the DLC?

I think I have to roll back my version. The risk that 90 of my mods would need to get updated again and according to the comment section, it is better that way. I recommend people to roll back their versions as well, until they fix the major issues and your mods are compatible again.

Still not getting passed the initialising screen, I left it loading for half a day and nothing.

I dont have any of the above issues currently, faces are normal and no crashes at all, be sure to have vanilla version and most uptodate drivers for everything for proper test
