AI at war ist still the weakest part of this game imo. has wrecked me in multiple saves just infuriating to see how stupid they move their troops at times
You shouldn't gain max (72 I believe?) stress for taking away a single title from a criminal vassal just because you're 'generous', especially when there are very few ways to relieve stress with that trait. I end up trying to murder my vassals because that generates less stress. Very 'generous'.
At the very least there should be a counter-balance such as losing a certain amount of stress each month through passively giving away 10% of your income.

You gain more stress from taking away single titles (or multiple - because apparently taking away every single title someone owns is just as stress-inducing to a generous person as taking away a single, tiny underdeveloped one) than doing things like executing children.

A trait far more in need of balancing than Shy imo. :samorost_spirit:
Looking forward to future updates :samorost_mouse:

Please add a button for gathering men at arms only.
This absolutely, especially useful for smaller peasant revolts

I also a agree with the above need to fix generous

In general the game should allow a bit more freedom to manage vassals (traits should give much less effect or should scale oppositely with realm size) especially when inhirited and with high crown authority.
Through conquest or taking titles you can inherit sub-ideal vassals, for example, some priviliges like guaranteed council right should also be cancelled when a more powerful title takes over the leading title, while others might become easier to cancel when they become part of a different realm and less so for under a new leader.
Contracts shouldn't have a hard limit on edits and less limits on the scale of changes especially when you want to lower contribution of new vassals with high taxes or levies, temporary opinion boosts for lowering contributions would also be good, or negative ones for increasing them.
Ideally you shouldnt have to incur tyranny for redividing lands among vassals if it benefits them, for example when they have lands spread all accross Eurasia and Africa although that seems like something that should have lower priority especially since it sounds more complex and needs proper balance.

(Havent played in a while so could be changed a bit already)

Toxic feedback only discourages the devs and the whole team. Expectations are a little crazy when Microsoft, Google, Cisco, Intel, AMD, Apple, and every other technology company has massive bugs, functionality issue, and security issues. And these companies have revenue in the billions and profits that are staggering. Paradox does a better job maintaining their games than anyone else I know of, and they are incredibly responsive. Having worked in technology at several fortune 500 firms, I have seen the issues that these companies have. Hospitals have had to divert patients because of tech products failing due to bugs which were not resolved for months...so give a gaming company a break, the product costs about what a dinner out does, and yet they do an amazing job. It's too bad that the haters are ruining the forums for the rest of us by driving away the developers due to their unrelenting and unproductive negativity.

Customers getting angry for the quality of the product is not them being haters - hell if I paid for a broken product id be angry (and demanding for a refund) due to the product not working as advertised or it being a defective product.

Don't simp for a company - especially if it doesn't care about its customers.
I think Diligent trait should make focusing on Development reduce stress not increase it. The diligent people I've met in my life all find work relaxing and not working stresses them out.

I think the councilors in the game should have more actions than the ones they already have. Diplomats are basically useless, Marshals are always working on levies because the other two are pointless, steward is always on development growth, and spymaster is okay with disrupt and support schemes. But I wish there were one or two more activities the councilors could be doing. Like for example, the spymaster could potentially steal money from other lords, or the diplomat could help you get hooks on certain people. Of course those hooks would need to be limited. Like, only on your liege, vassals, and some foreigners like wanderers and landed people, but not foreign rulers like kings and emperors. And maybe the Marshal could also prevent small factions and peasant rebellions if you have a lot of soldiers. Because getting a peasant rebellion late game, when you have 50,000 soldiers is really annoying. Especially when the rebellion is like less than 1,000 soldiers. And maybe the steward could also prevent foreign spymasters from stealing your money if you make that a possible spymaster activity. And maybe all the councilors could also help with technology research. Just something to make the councilors more useful in the game.

Good, just be careful thanks
Y'all got any of that Coat of Arms editor?
The change to the Shy trait is very welcome. The stress generated by schemes is just brutal.

aright chill out lol.
The gaining stress from personal schemes is one of the reasons I do everything I can to avoid playing a character with the "shy" trait. After playing it for one character and being so crippled by it, I said "never again". I hope this update fixes it so that it's not crippling, at least.

Dear devs,

Why would you make diligent a stressful trait in the first place? This choice was nonsensical and it makes an otherwise fairly good trait one to be avoided tbh. Being a diligent person does not automatically mean also being a stressful person, you devs know that right?

Also, what positive modifiers does "diligent planning" give to justify gaining 80 stress?

More start dates when? If I might suggest a few:

950

1081

1096 (have this 1 start with the 1st crusade active from the gate. This would add quite an interesting dynamic.)

1157

1187

1200

1220

1261

1296

1327

1350

I'd add more but you have the game end at 1453. Would be sensational if you would add another century on and/or let ironman/achievement runs be possible with the "no end date" option, while adding more achievements.

When are more achievements coming? Can you go back to whoever did the artwork for the ck2 and eu4 achievements? Whoever is doing them for ck3 is doing a very poor job on it, many of them look terrible, especially the set that was released with the Northern Lords dlc.

This last part I say with all due respect and as a fan and customer that has spent a fair amount of money with you whether you were having a sale or not. The first major expansion dlc should be out already. This update that you're working on, this content should have been in the game already. When people have bought something from you and ask you what the content of it is, your response should never be "we're not ready to talk about it yet," or "we're not ready to talk about it yet, but make sure to watch our developer event/convention! ;)" This is simply not ok when people that have paid you for something are asking you for information about what they purchased.
still whining about the dlc you chose to preorder from a company with a years-long history of keeping a consistent dlc schedule? oh yeah and also just research a dozen more start dates for the game! stupid
nice
