It's trivially easy to find an exhaustive list of all dev diaries for CK3:
https://ck3.paradoxwikis.com/Developer_diaries

For all the salt in this thread, you think it would be trivially easy to find a single promise Paradox made about CK3 which they've broken.

You know, promises about 'release dates' and 'when'.

Something, anything, that remotely justifies all the Sturm und Drang, and the vitriol spewed toward total strangers.

Any quotes, anyone? Or is it all in your head?
"You will not pay for content that was in ck2 being resold to you yet again"

There, that one they broke already. defend THAT.

Actually, I was looking at the list of Dev Diaries, and in Dev Diary 0: The Vision, it says (and I directly quote)

"Now, you might say: “Cool, but I took the time to master CK2, bought all the expansions, and now it provides me an enormous breadth of options. Why should I buy CK3?”

That’s a fair question! As I mentioned earlier, we decided not to carry over all features from CK2, so if you play CK2 primarily for, say, the nomads or the merchant republics (the only faction types that were playable in CK2 but not in CK3), you might be disappointed. There are likely other features and content that will be missed by some players, but, in return, we believe that everyone will find the core gameplay far more fun and rewarding! To be clear, CK3 is a vastly bigger game than CK2 was on release."

This quote seems to be trying to say that Paradox would not try and have all features from CK2 in CK3 at launch. Now, I have not read the rest of the Dev Diaries for CK3, but I found this in the second Dev Diary for the overall game (There were two Dev Diary 0s)

P.S: I am not trying to be confrontational, I am just trying to have a gentelmanly debate with the original author.

That's a fascinating claim. Before we can evaluate whether that claim is true or false, we must address a prior question:

Where did they make the claim you attribute to them?

Yes, you're quite right. That particular dev diary says they won't have *all* CK2 features in CK3. (They specifically mention some features of nomads and merchant republics).

This is quite compatible with there being *some* CK2 features in CK3 (how could there not be?). And it's certainly compatible with there being some CK2 features in CK3 expansions.

Let's say CK2 has features X, Y, and Z. The fact that X won't be in CK3 is entirely compatible with charging for Y and Z to be in CK3.

'Not all features of CK2 will be in CK3 at launch' sits quite comfortably with 'Some features of CK2 will be later included in CK3 at a price.'

Cool story bro but unless you can actually provide a link from PDX stating this, it is all just in your head and in some others heads......

Are you sure you quoted what they said, because I could not find the above quote from the random steam user in that quote of yours....

No, what I mean by "this quote" in my response was the quote I just stated, and not the previous guy's.

Wow this studio really bellied up fast. Well, do not blame them for not reading here. Reality can be difficult for some. Particularly for the unnaturally modified ones. But in the end of the day, we all get the game we deserve, collectively speaking.

So is there going to be more content released soon? Whether its an expansion or not i dont care ive spent hundreds over the decade or more ive played pdx games.

Ck3 is a fantastic step in the right direction perhaps the best base game release ever by the devs.

However I always feel like its almost as if its a console launch rather than a game launch. Its far less so this time around but nevertheless the other religions truly need to be more fleshed out and its been almost a year since release.

Not working on Geforce Now for MONTHS. Nobody from the company addressed this properly and did not fix that.

I think the GeForce thing is a legit complaint, although this is probably not the forum for reporting it. This post gives instructions on submitting bug reports in the right place:

About five days ago they posted the following reply about it on p. 1 of the current thread:

Any dev needs to devote resources to fix any contemporary graphics cards issues, so they do need to address that.

Yes, the slowness of DLC is a contrast with CK2; that can't be denied. But there may be a reason for that.

9/1/2020: Royal Edition released
9/1/2020: Fashion of the Abbasid Court released
3/16/2021: Northern Lords released
5/21/2021: The Royal Court announced ("You can expect the expansion to release later this year.")
???: Flavor Pack 2 released

The above just is the entirety of the Royal Edition.

I think their strategy is to try to release the major DLC every six months. Notice that Northern Lords is about six months after CK3, and The Royal Court will be about six months after Northern Lords.

Fewer, bigger, but more polished DLC, in contrast to the earlier DLC policy of fifty billion (rough estimate) smaller packages. If so, then they are hitting that target.
gwelty 15/ago./2021 às 17:58
However, I admit that Northern Lords is really Flavor Pack 1, rather than major DLC, so to be honest that undermines my theory a bit. :-)

So I think the success of the slower pace will depend on just how 'big' and 'polished' The Royal Court (and its accompanying patch) turn out to be. Fans will no doubt render their judgment at that time, and Paradox knows it. So the new DLC policy is: "I'm taking an awful risk, Vader. This had better work."

300 coins for a dagger?
No dagger can be worth 300 coins at game prices. Why do we need such artifacts that do not fit into the game economy?
