Game crashes on startup

I adore this game adn I've played it for a while but I can't play it recently. The launcher runs, the game runs, but when I click play I get a very long loading screen before it just quits out and crashes independently, no error message. Has anyone else had this problem? I verified my game files, it didn't change that.

Have you done verify files in steam? Tried to uninstall and reinstall? Mods in use? If you have, you have checked that mods are updated to be compatible with current version of the ck3? (example EPE is still not updated for roads of power and will crash your game if running with it on)

It is definitely a local issue to your PC if it is not working.

Im having the same issue. Ive checked my files and redownload the game.

Another thing to try is to manually delete all of the game files in both spots --> the SteamLibrary\steamapps\common and the Documents\Paradox interactive\ directories.

Some remnant of the files may not be deleted when uninstalled and this could be causing an issue.

The game is working for ~~99.8675309 % of the players so the issue has to be a local one

I had a NVIDA driver update i needed to install. Doing that seems to have fixed my game.
Maybe check to see if you also need to update.

Same problem. I've reinstalled the game, no mods(completely removed them then reinstalled), verified files. I don't know what else to try.
