Game crashing

My game seems to be constantly crashing after a while and randomly. No mods at all are installed and I verified integrity

Yeah I keep crashing at the exact same date no matter which autosave I load, it's ridicilous

Mine also crashes to desktop and there is no rhyme or reason to it. The game just randomly freezes for a second or two, then closes to desktop.

I had the same problem (also no mods and solid PC) after trying everything I randomly decided to update my BIOS to the most recent, since I had already updated everything else. I have played around 2 hours so far with NO crashes. I have no idea why that fixes it but so far so good.

This was my issue last week, so I rolled back to the previous version. Right now, all my crashing is no longer happening.

I suspect the update they did is causing your issues (as it was clearly mine).

I'll give this some time for them to work out the kinks in the update (then I'll go back). I just got the base game, and having it crash while I'm trying to learn, is not good for my blood pressure. lol.

Same problem, blue screen, no mods. I can play other games without any problems, but ck3 crashes, no idea why

Same for me. I even set the auto-save to happen monthly to minimize game time lost between crashes.

Same. Although for me it seems to happen after ~1-2 hours. so only after playing for a while

The crash dump file afterwards always seems to be slightly above 100 MB

Yeah i keep getting it no matter if i have a mod on or not.

Google "ck3 crashing" and you'll get a few helpful ways to fix (some of the) crashes.
I don't remember of the top of my head, but I believe things like a clean re-install, including manually deleting the "mydocuments" and "steamapps" mentions of CK3 fixed it for me.

Unfortunately, this still didn't help. Clean install and deleting everything didn't seem to matter. I just think it's an un-optimized update. Going to have to wait for an update with how unplayable it is
