Is the Perfect Circle Bugged after Latest Expansion?
I've tried at least 4 runs on Iceland now with the characters mostly homosexual (minimised children birthed from cheating) All runs went to dead ends, I've done exact the achievement asked me to do, now I'm at generation 7 or 8 and the achievement is nowhere to be found.

I've noticed when I started the game with custom character and rules, when I loaded the existing rules I've saved in the past, the achievement was marked as unavailable after I selected the rules. However, after I returned to the map, the achievement was marked as available again.

Please let me know if I've wasted 50 hrs for a bugged achievement, much appreciated.

I don't know if it is bugged or not but it might be worth opening up the game in debug mode and checking the real fathers of all your family to make sure it's all in the family

And if you think it's bugged or someone tells you it is, you can always use the betas in steam to go back to an older patch version and try the achievement there

BTW I've checked the rule setting I saved previously, it was supposed to be compatible with the achievement, as I remembered I've unlocked other achievements with this rule setting in the past.

You are my hero, thank you for your advice, will try to run the game under debug mode 😁

just be careful that once you open your save in debug, you won't be able to earn achievements on that save once it saves

i also thought of something, they changed something about relatedness for family members in the wandering nobles patch:

Rebalanced inbred/pureblooded chance, due to inbreeding risk now being calculated based on the degree of relatedness instead of the number of missing ancestors

i would try an older beta and try again, you can always unlock achievements on betas as long as the achievement is available on that beta version

I thought the same thing, they've definitely fked up their coding somewhere with this inbred change, all my female family members were lesbian due to my rule setting, there's no chance they would be seduced and impregnated by some random male seducers so easily.

Thanks again, I've just reverted back to an older version beta, and the achievement just pop up immediately after I loaded the save file. You truly saved my playthrough.

Hi, what version did you revert to get this to pop? I'm having the same issue, but the first version i tried to revert to is just crashing every time. I may have to do yet another full run on the working version...

EDIT: I found a version that worked for me and achievement popped straight away 1.13.2 works
