new update new bugs

so usually the endless crashes and bugs dont start until the new update drops but i see paradox are outdoing themselves and releasing a early start to the crashes...
love this game and company but being unable to play my old saves now for weeks if at all just means im highly unlikly to spend anymore as its really getting old

I only once played till the end why do you need old runs? Get a new one. Imagine an idea for your run like a goal and then see how it goes. Once I had an idea to take all brit lands create an empire and give it up playing as a welsh poor king but almost immediately after a war mistake and then refusing conversion or personal hate when became a vassal of a + I ended up a homeless adventurer as Ivar the boneless if not mistaken. So I thought it was impossible to loose all my land but nope. Yet it was fun and now I try a landless hobo almost every run and even think sometimes hot to get rid of my kingdom if I have it at the moment.

each minor update makes your save out of date as it is on an older version of the game. Either roll back the game to the previous version or simply 'resume' your last saved after the update and re-save your progress under the updated version.

For major updates the only way to return to old saved is to rollback to an older version of the game. Not something I do so you may need to check with someone else how to do that if that is your preference.
