ive tried all these so far:
-cant cancel the contract, because there is no contract
-cant command an army and switch my dude out for commander (i can raise an army but not select a commander, they are all unavailable due to travel)
-seemingly all the move camp decisions or buttons are locked
-almost every option or interaction ive tried is locked out because "i am traveling"
The only way I found around it was to become landed, if you have enough Men-at-Arms and/or can afford mercs to conquer a weak county. On my current playthrough, I was in debt. Very early on. I'm waiting to see if dying will work. In the meantime, I'll be hanging out in Crete speedrunning my life, accumulating cash and fathering an army :)
Edit 1: You'll lose most of your followers (there are ways to get some back) and all camp upgrades, but you can become an adventurer again almost immediately.
Edit 2: You won't have a general if you raise your men-at-arms because they're all travelling with you. Hiring mercs will fix that.
This bug can kill an adventurer run at any point.
In short: become landed or die.
Going to hammer this also on the support of Paradox.
Having to wait the death a 18 y.o. character is a huge NO.
