1-Do you have ALOT of memory? Extra memory seems to help out
2-Do you use an SSD drive? SSD makes everything quicker and less hanging up
3-Run a memory diagnostic. Its a system function and will restart your computer. Takes a little long but.....I had this issue and you'll have to change out your memory (or clean connectors) IF you have a problem.
Hope these suggestions help you out. If it is NOT one of the above things...dunno what to tell ya.
@armyissue69 : If it helps, here's the information I find in my task manager :
- Used (compressed) : 5.3Go (140MO)
- Available : 2.6Go
- Validated : 7.3/16.4Go
- Caching : 2.6Go
- Paginated reserve : 1016Mo
- Unpaginated pool : 524Mo
This is the information I can currently find without the game being launched.
I do have an SSD but I don't know whether the game was downloaded to it or to the HDD. Do you think this could affect how it works?
How can I diagnose the memory? How can I change my memory or clean the connectors?
Sorry, my computer skills are pretty limited, especially as I'm French, so I'm doing the Google translation in parallel to make sure I understand everything.
In any case, thank you both in advance for your involvement!
SSD makes the game play faster. I have an SSD and the game loads in 30 sex.
To diagnose your memory, use the Windows Memory Diagnostic and you can find it in Windows Tools or if older windows like windows 10, just goto advanced system tools or whatever from the start button and down the apps list or search bar. I ran it and found errors and then just went and got a new system lol.
IF and ONLY IF you find errors with your memory, you'd have to buy memory sticks that work for your motherboard and pull em out and replace them...I dunno anything about your system so... this is simply a do it yourself at your own risk :).
To clean the connectors, ONLY IF you find memory problems...1st, grab a can-o-air and spray out all that dust inside your machine, pull out the memory sticks and take a pencil eraser and rub it across your metal connectors on the sticks and blow out the memory stick holders. This would not be a normal thing...memory sticks are usually just fine with tons of dust around em but dust can sort of short out stuff I spose.
the game is also installed on nvme ssd WD
