crashed 3 times same spot
i have no issue running the game everything is fine as i read the tutorial and progress through until i reach schemes when it tells me "even with family you might have to remove and obstacle quietly." and when i click that "Next" crash every time.

Initializing game......crash and burn mav
Anyone else having an issue after you press the play button it goes to the initializing game screen then kerpluck it crashes then gives you the option to send a crash report where i imagine a team consisting of 20 or so nerds are working feverously to fix my personal problem, thats happening right?

Anyone have a fix besides the usual uninstall/reinstall, remove mods, delete old files......cause i did all those.

+1 Me too. Keeps crashing randomly, usually after a little while.
I've had crashes on CK3 some time ago.

Turns out the game uses quite a bit, or quite often, my Ram, I'm not sure if it was faulty or not, most people will recommend you turn off XMP to make it more stable and so I did, turns out my ram couldn't even ram properly without a certain XMP profile, once I found the right one I didn't have any more crashing.

I know it's unlikely you're having the exact same problem I had here, but I'll leave this post just in case it helps someone, these new technologies (DDR4 and over) are highly unstable.
Game Crushes after the New updates !!
Very annoying gaming crushes every time when a ruler dies or change of government. Does any one having this problem ?
My game is crashing constantly, I cannot play for an hour without crashing, terrible.
Having the same issue but you get a longer game play then myself. I get about 10 seconds after using 5 speed.
867-1200 no crashes. Do the basics: update drivers, disable mods, make sure your version is "peacock" etc.
it wont even let me load my game at all, instantly crashes.
Maybe we all go back to previous version of the game ? Not sure if that will work, Someone please try and let us know how it goes. thanks.
Frequently crash when loading save files...
After the update, my V3 and CK3 are both crashed
15k people playing with out issues right now. It really sucks when your in the tiny minority with issues, but typically it can be traced down to config issues.

Like the other person said, check drivers, updates, chipset, bios ect. Run userbenchmark and see if it flags anything. Get ccleaner, and check the drivers update section and manually update things that are out of date. Even simple maintenance can be the cause. run a diskclean up and check disk, do a file verify as well. if your running on an HDD, do a defrag, SSD's don't need this step.

Lastly, If your having crashing issues, Please send your DX_Diag off to support. They can't fix your particular config issue (if it is on their end) with out the Data! just run the program, copy the file and send it off to support with a note about when it crashes, how, is it repeatable, ect.
Crashes in 1.11
There was a lot of crashes even for random reasons like "Something wrong with the sound" in 1.11 while previous versions were stable. Currently I got a crash because it tried to read old modded saves I didn't load at all.

I'm having the same problem. I've had dozens of mods and never crashed until this update.
