Initializing Game

It's been stuck on this loading screen for what seems like forever. Sometimes it does take a while to load (around 5 minutes or so usually) but now it's just stuck on this screen and shows no signs of loading the start menu.

Does anyone have any advice for getting the hamster back on the wheel?

May not be your issue but first time loading the game each day for me can take up to 5+ minutes. I'll literally just get up and go do something else until I hear the music start.

I have just discovered a possible solution. Had low memory error on diablo 4 and ck3 failed to launch after long wait on "initialising game". Try increasing page file manually to minimum 20000 and max 40000 or even larger. After this change diablo4 is running fine and ck3 is starting with no problems but still takes some time to load the game for the first time.

For me rolling back to older version worked. (1.4.4 for example)
Could try also the first older vers, i heard the latest hotfix fcked up some things

He just didn't explain it well. Game wants to be on C drive, needs a large enough swap file, and has issues sometimes depending on what type of hard drive you have.
