GPU temp issues?
So as of today I have noticed that CK3 ramps my temps up more than any other game I play. I have a 3070TI and every other game I run (most of which are much more graphically intense than this game) come in at sub 60C at the high end, but CK3 is pushing close to 70C and causing my fans to ramp like crazy. Has anyone else experienced this? For reference I am on the latest drivers with win 10.

"close to 70C" is on the lower end of GPU temperature, 80-85C is still normal. It's not the temp that's the problem, it's when your fans ramp up. Maybe you should set up the fan curve with msi afterburner or similar programs.

as rossobianco say, nothing wrong at 70c for the computer, even more if you have an ad as proc. 3070TI is a big card and getting hot, nothing wrong for me.

I have played for over 2000h with little to no issues but after last update CK3 uses 60%+ of memory/gpu/cpu when it shouldn't. So yeah I have the same issue.

Maybe check your settings in game. Think there is a FPS limiter.

No issues with my 3070 TI i got a EVGA ftw3, although its one of the better cooling versions of the card

This could be the reason. Have you enabled VSync to limit your fps? My GPU runs on smooth 40-45°C, when I play CK3. But the cooling in my case is also quite good.

I will check this today. The reason for my concern is no other game I run is as hot as CK3 even if the temps are within reasonable parameters.

You can activate the FPS Display in the Steam Game Options, to check, how many FPS you have ingame. When it isn't limited, it can be extremely high with good graphic cards. And I think ultra high FPS is quite wasted in a game like CK3

Limiting the FPS solved it. Just weird how I have 100+ hours in the game and it just became an issue last night.
