Strange Hair Bug
For reference before anyone asks, yes, I've validated, and yes, I've tested this without any mods active.

Summary
Hair on characters appears as if under a helmet even when that isn't the case.
Attached here is a screenshot of the issue. https://imgur.com/a/vTdNTfX

Description
I have this strange, constantly re-occurring glitch where the hair on my character, and occasionally other characters - but especially my own, to the point it happens with every character eventually - appears as if it is under a helmet or hat even when that isn't the case. This tends to looks, uh. Not the best, honestly, and I have zero idea of the cause.
Of note is the inconsistent consistency with it - I can always rely on it happening with EVERY character I made eventually, but sometimes it happens after 2 months, and sometimes it happens after 20 years without any warning.

Steps to Reproduce
Zero idea. As I've said, it's been happening pretty randomly. It happens consistently to my player character, but I've only noticed a handful of times where it's happened to other characters in the world. It's been happening on-off for awhile, and I had hoped the update might fix it, but that sadly wasn't the case - so here I am.

That is called, ahem, androgenetic alopecia, also known as male pattern baldness, and they added it sometime with an update last spring. You will notice it happening to a LOT of characters at around 40 years of age.

You will also notice it happens to a lot of people in the real world if you go out in public and look.

You can remove that feature with a mod in the workshop if you want to go back to everyone keeping their hair forever. :)

I've had the exact same issue for months now and have not found a way of fixing it yet.

I was thinking this was the case. I wasn't aware they had added it. Good to get it confirmed. I won't be modding it out.
And no need to go looking for it, I live with two people who have it.

Part, if not the main reason, hats are such a large part of fashion. ;)
