Instead of waiting for a patch that hopefully makes the game less resource intensive, you should do some hardware maintenance. If your computer can only handle 50% of the workload it is supposed to be able to handle, you're wasting 50% of the money you spent on it.
I can get into the game but as I play it freezes up and I have to do a hard restart.
Wish I could refund the DLC but alas, I'm pretty sure I played longer than 2 hours. The game seems very unstable nowadays.
In fact, you can still try to request a refund if the game doesn't actually work. If you refer to the many posts about the game not being playable, you might get a refund.
