Anyone having the same problem with the game not closing properly?

Since the patch, each time I close the game it just stays running in steam. I need to shut down steam to have it finally close.

Yeah had it a few times, but sometimes it closes correctly

Pretty weird yeah. I get it each time myself. It hangs there in green doing nothing.

It shouldn't be steam, CK3 has always been doing this for me even the Xbox Game Pass version.
Just close CK3 in the task manager, no need to restart steam.
Whatever it is it's doing something tho, not sure why but it does finish every time if you just wait.

The game doesn't appear in the task manager. It just remains green in steam with "running" written next to it. I think it's more like a steam glitch or something on my end.

It never happened before the patch and the new DLC. Always used to stop right away.

Alright I fixed it by reinstalling steam and the game afterwards. It seems it was a steam issue. Now it's all good, the game closes properly again.

Nothing new for me. I've had to do this as long as I've had CK3. That said I have had a bunch of mods installed almost from the very start so it could be that.

I have this issue. I've tried verifying the game files, reinstalling the Paradox Launcher, reinstalling Steam and reinstalling CK3. The problem persists.
