Game Crashes

Hello,
Just purchased this game as part of the Autumn Sale. It won't allow me to play the game. Steam launches the game and begins loading screen but then crashes with no error popups or anything like that.
Has anyone else ran into this problem?

is a problem related to the new update for some reason crash the game randomly and is unastable, it would crash in a certain point during your gameplay maybe

Ever since the wards and hostages update I'm having crashes too.
Completely unmodded. It 100% crashes after a few hours of play or when trying to manually save.
Maybe it is autosave related?

There is a known issue with regular crashes after updating to 1.11.1 and the suggested rollback above has prevented 99% of the crashes I was seeing - You can rollback via:

CK3 Game Page > Settings 'Cog' > 'Betas' Side tab > Select 1.10.2 in 'Beta Participation' dropdown

Might be something unrelated to running the game on 5x but worth trying. If you are on 1.11.X then any save games that migrated to 1.11.X probably won't work however. Hope it helps for you

Game just randomly crashing

Am I the only one? It's completely random. I'll play for 5-20 minutes and then it crashes. I then reload the game and it seems to work normal. Then it'll crash. I saw there was a update the other day. But still it has been crashing on me consistently for the last week now. Does anyone know if the team is working on fixing this?

You are not alone. Basically unplayable since latest updates despite 557 problem-free hours before.

I have reinstalled, manually deleted all the old files, verified new installation, never had any mods and, crucially, have not enabled any DLC.

Now it won't even load. Just stuck in never ending "initialising game".

There are posts all over the Internet about it which are normally met with instructions to do the above or replies that your PC was never up to the job despite it meeting recommended spec and happily running it for hundreds of hours.
