game takes forever to load

Hit play on steam/ launcher/ directly to the .exe file. Same results of 1hr+ waiting for "initializing game".

It is installed on a ssd (but even on a hdd without fragmentation, it would still be only 5 min instead of 1-3 on ssd with 30GB mods).

ALREADY UNNINSTALED THE GAME COMPLETELY (unninstall, delete appdata and documents)

Yea man, I have been having this same issue since this game came out. I have uninstalled and reinstalled, doesn't help at all. I really would like to play this game more but I never do because getting it to launch is so difficult.

Replacing that atrocious 100 mb/s ssd (hdd?) would speed things up considerably. That said it HAS been loading slower since the last DLC but not by all that much. Takes like 15 seconds instead of 8-10, but it still loads perfectly.

MB (megabytes, which means 8 bytes, which would be around 800mb/s ((theoretycal, real world is like 550)), typing error)

And even so, the game is 10 gb, so, to load everything (entire freaking game files) to ram would take like what? 40s?

And it's not happening, it takes more than an hour.

Well your hardware IS getting a bit long in the tooth but that still doesn't explain why it takes THAT long to load. Only other factors would be mods (which you ruled out) and number of save games. Try deleting (or moving) saves you don't need?

Already deleted everything from documents folder, so, no mods, no saves, no nothing.
Maybe cache? But I already restarted the game many times so it should be fine now.

Strange thing is, this only happened after update, before it was only like a minute.
