Long Start Up Times

Anyone else's game take 4+ minutes to start if it even does? If not, any troubleshooting tips? Thank you

Super slow loading since 1.9.0 - is it just me?

Prior to the 1.9.0 update, the game would always load in 2 minutes max on my PC. Since the update, it has always taken a minimum of 6 minutes, sometimes up to 10. Is this just me, or has anyone else experienced this too?

The first time it happened I wasn't worried, I know loading can take longer after an update, but I expected it would go back to normal and it hasn't. Subsequent updates haven't made it any better or worse. Nothing else has changed about my PC, and all other games still load in their usual amount of time. Once the game loads it works fine, no crashes or freezes or anything. I just find it odd that I can suddenly cook a meal in the time it takes to load CK3.

I'm not totally tech-illiterate, but I'm not the most savvy either, so if anyone has any suggestions for a fix I'd love to hear them!

Its not just you. I dont know if its my 100 mods doing this which they do contrubute alot but i think since the big patch the game loading loads longer now. Load games were faster back then.

not just you, loading savegames has become a matter of luck, especially when the game has been running for a few minutes and you want to return to a previous savegame.

what I noticed, as a possible cause, is the fact that now the "paradox laucher V2" in addition to the previous laucher, with which you also start the game, activates. Possibly these two block each other, is pure speculation, but at least it is different from version 1.8xx.

Is it normal for the game to take SO LONG to load?

New player here, is it normal that the game takes MORE that 5 minutes to load when started?

I literally have no mods installed, i just got the Iberian DLC with the base game.

First time start-up was long for me too, it sped up substanially after the first time starting it, which is a common method games have used for awhile. Don't ask me the technicalities of it but that's more or less how it works.

I feel as though 1.9 to 1.9.2.1 has been terrible for loading because before, the game had a good enough loading time.

This is gta v level slow.

I’ve got no mods, a couple dlcs, the version is up to date, and a rig that can handle sim racing on f1 with the graphics as high as the game will go.

So why is this game taking forever to load each time?
