Save files getting corrupted post update

Why do the games I've saved keep getting corrupted once the game updates? Is there something wrong with my computer or is it a glitch that everyone is facing?

No, all of my saves are invalid too. I even started a new game because the 1.9.2 caused my previous game to have constant crashes. Now the hotfix they just released is causing my new game after the major update to be broken and constant crash. I just started playing this game last month and now am very annoyed. This is ridiculous.
