How does it work exactly the hibridation culture system?
Hello guys!

I started as a nordic errant and stablish myself in Cerdeña. I was planing to hibrid both cultures but the only option I have is "diverge culture". How can I make the hibridation exactly? I read wikiCK3 but it is not clear to me.

Also, I would like to change my religion to cristian or orthodox in the future. It is possible to become feudal, cristian and keep the possibility of sacking others lands?

Thank you all for your time!

You have to select the culture you wish to merge with.
Must be a different Heritage, Cannot be a parent culture of your own.
Must have at least 1 tile of the target culture in your realm.

You can raid as a feudal duke with practiced pirate tradition, however there are strict limits.
If you click on the culture you want to hybridise with, there should be a 'create hybrid' option, is it not there? Will require getting your cultural acceptance to 40 normally, but 20 if you're Norse, because they have a tradition that decreases the requirement by 50% (can still be 40 with certain cultures if they have the opposite tradition, making it so you'd normally need 80).

And there's forming the Kingdom of Mann, which if memory serves feudalises you and lets you keep raiding for 100 years, but if you're in Spain and want to become Christian, then not really. You could also get the 'Practiced Pirates' tradition, but that stops working if you're higher than a duke, which will probably happen quite quickly, making it debatably worth bothering with.

EDIT: Deus beat me to it.
Their parent culture has to be different, otherwise you are just "diverging."
If I understand the rules correctly.

Example: Danish and Swedish wouldn't create a hybrid, as they are the same ethnicity.

You won't even get the option to create a hybrid culture in that situation. There just won't be a button. Instead, there will be text saying that you can't hybridize with a culture with the same heritage.

For divergent cultures, you have to select your own culture.
