"The Roman Empire must be faithfully restored"

In regards to reforming the Hellenistic faith while Emperor of a restored Rome, there's a tenet called "Household Gods" that gives pretty good bonuses but can't be selected/is greyed out, with the disclaimer "The Roman Empire must be faithfully restored" before being able to select it. Does anyone have more info on this? What exactly does a 'faithful restoration' of the Empire look like? Or maybe it's just from some weird mod conflict? Thanks.

i'm pretty sure that tenet is given when you restore rome and choose to convert to Hellenism. you can't get that tenet if you convert to Hellenism yourself without choosing it from restoring rome

Interesting, I've never seen nor been offered an accompanying 'Convert to Hellenism' option any of the times I've restored Rome. It's only ever been 'Restore Roman Empire', get Augustus trait, Empire of Italia is destroyed, etc. No text or options about converting religion.

do you have the Roads to Power DLC ? i'm pretty sure you have to own that DLC to get the new roman restoration stuff

and or maybe it's for restoring rome as Byzantium

Ahhh that's the issue, haha. Don't have the DLC. I appreciate the assistance, you've solved the problem.

Only for the Byzantine Empire, restoring Rome with the HRE or the Empire of Italy has not been updated by the Devs.

But to be honest, CK3 Devs loves to update only 1 Thing and forgot that they are others.
(Looking at you, war_for_imprison and war_for_retraction scripted effects).
