As for OP, like others have suggested disable auto-updates and/or rollback.
The fact of the matter is that as long as the game is in active development (in this case DLC adding) saves can be corrupted due to the changes in code.
I call nonsense. I've had the same savegame since RTP launched and it still works lmao
There have been no compatibility-breaking changes in any of the 1.13x updates; please check any mods you're using to ensure that they're not breaking save compatibility with their own updates.
