Ah ok I see then.
Military court type at top level (X) adds one. THATS exclusively king/emperor.
Top end foot combat (3) in the "H" tourney skill (that I'm not going to look up the spelling for) adds either 1 or 2 regiments *I think*.
Yea I know that one.
Yea got that one too.
I sadly do not own that DLC (yet).
Thats why I asked for a mod. I do know about all regiment increase in the base game. But I would like 1 more as King, Emperor.
Ah. so you want just one more than the maximum you can generate with ALL existing options BUT without any DLC?
Edit/debug. That IS what a mod does, just you have to do it yourself.
Yea exactly. I guess with the DLC I would have enough but atm, money is scarce.
You mean the debug/cheat mode? I tried that too but it only can give you Regiments within the Regiment limit as far as I tried (also both, effect spawn_army script and the pre compiled add_maa command do not work like that for me and also add_maa is very buggy).
Well I guess I could start digging in the game files and simply modding myself locally... But, because some Regiment limit mods exist with the work in theory already done I thought maybe I could save the time and that a mode with +1 or configurable amount maybe already would exist...
You could work it several different ways.
Create an entire mod specifically to do that (looking at a mod that boosts them significantly already and just altering it to lower numbers would significantly shorten your work), just boosting the number of MAA regiments added by ruler rank a little (a game mechanic that is there now), or adding a MAA boost to a building (used to be a thing, if you look back an update or two MAA were boosted with buildings for the different 'types'). If you tied it to a Duchy level building it would keep the boost to Duke level or above.
What are you talking about? I think you are misunderstanding, as was I at first read. Adding MAA isn't locked behind any paywall. There are many ways to do that in game AND the OP was asking how to do that without DLC - meaning only leave those ways that were requiring DLC to do so out.
In addition to all the in game ways (both 'vanilla' & DLC), there is edit/debug, mods, and the ability to create your own mod for one of the easiest games to mod I know of.
