Pope always naked. Why?

So I don't know if this is a bug or something, but my popes are always naked all of the time. I don't know if it's one of my mods or perhaps it's some of the dlc, but it's really starting to bother me. I don't have the naked popes mod installed either. Has anyone else come across this issue? Does anyone know a solution or anything I could try to fix it because it's bothering me?

I have the same issue. Along with it, when I start a new game all the guests of my culture that show up for about the first 10 years of the game are dressed as bishops.

Has to be a mod fighting with another mod or something they changed in the base game. If you have barbershop/better barbershyop you can do what I do - just put some clothes on him until he dies and you have to dress the next one. =)

It's a bug caused by one of your mods.

I play with no mods and sometimes people are just naked. Sometimes, it's the same starting stock campaign scenario and the same person is naked through multiple starts.

It can happen when a character meets the conditions for Emperor's New Clothes in-game, like having the Lunatic trait and getting the event to have a new outfit made. iirc, sometimes the Deviant trait can provide options in some events that lead to perma-nudity, but I can't remember anything specific to call out there.

Maybe a mod is causing it, but it also just straight-up happens normally. You may be able to dress them if it bothers you. I assume it's possible, but I've never tried for people that aren't part of my lineage.

I don't look at him that often; they probably run around St.Peters Basilica nekkid for a couple generations until he shows up all Adamite at my grand wedding and wants to perform the ceremony.

THEN I have to point out while I may of paid extra for these decorations that are making him unhappy his choice of attire, or lack therof, is doing the same thing for me.

Clothes limit pope's self expression, but probably some mod incompatibility.
