Quick question about the "rite" tenet

Are there any special requirements/DLCs you need to unlock this tenet and do you get Ecumenism?

There are special requirements, but it doesn't need any DLC. The requirements are being of a set faith (Christianity, Judaism, Dualism, Miletê Tawûsê Melek, Buddhism, Hinduism, Jainism, Zoroastrianism, Taoism, or Pagan), The parent faith needs to currently have a spiritual head of faith, your new faith still has to meet all the requirements of the tenets for the parent faith, and your new faith has to have a spiritual head of faith so the position can be filled by the spiritual head of faith of the parent faith.

Unless I am misinterpreting something it doesn't give you Ecumenism, but you don't lose it if your parent faith had it. That would require the parent faith being Catholicism, Orthodoxy, Coptic, Apostolic, Mozarabism, Insularism, Krstjani, or Conversos AKA the "non-heretical" Christian religions according to medieval Catholicism.
