Rebellions against liege that siege and destroy your domain... FUN!

Just another issue with this game, playing as a count in the Byzantine empire I managed to overthrow my direct liege and become a duke, upgrade my holdings and was on my way of becoming the emperor (which did happen as I was in my late 80s and near death) and there goes more than half the realm rising up in rebellion against the current emperor.

15 thousand men capturing MY holdings because I had no way to tell that their rebellion was about to fire so I could join it and spare my holdings from looting. I was too busy managing my own affairs to check the emperor's. GIVE US NOTIFICATIONS FOR REBELLIONS THAT ARE ABOUT TO HAPPEN AGAINST OUR LIEGE!

There is a pause button if you want to look around, go to the bathroom, or check something out in the game in depth. Just sayin'. ;)

Someone should pay you to be a professional comedian, it should be illegal for someone that funny to not get paid for it.

Also yes I do pause my game frequently. It's just that, as I explained in the post you didn't read, there are no notifications for rebellions that are about to happen against your liege like there are against you. I have to go to the faction tab to see and I can't check it all the time to see which of the dozens of rebellions that fire up every so often are strong enough to achieve their goals against the Roman emperor and destroy my economy in the process.

I had to hire mercenaries to do his job for him, otherwise every single one of my holdings would be looted.

Read it, feel your frustration, but do NOT want another popup notification to ignore, have to investigate, or window I have to close to see what I really want to look at.

I pause the game a couple times per game year to look around and dig into things I think I need to monitor. I do that FOR the politics mostly, because things change and opportunities that weren't part of any plan of mine present themselves - or problems arise that I wasn't aware of or expecting.

It is just my personal playstyle - but you do you.

You can look at any/all factions against your Liege & the strength of each.
Its the best way to overthrow him, too. If you join one they'll make you their Leader. Or, get a Strong hook on 1 or 2 of his Powerful Vassals & Force them to join your Rebellion.

I know, you can also look at your heir every 2 minutes to see if something happened to his wife (maybe she got pregnant and died in childbirth resulting in the urgent need for him to get remarried), but thankfully you don't have to do that as the game will notify you in case something like this happens. That's what I'm asking for, just like they notify you when a faction is getting stronger and is able to threaten you directly, give us notifications for factions against our liege that end up marching thousands of troops through your domain and destroying it.
