crashed 3 times same spot

i have no issue running the game everything is fine as i read the tutorial and progress through until i reach schemes when it tells me "even with family you might have to remove and obstacle quietly." and when i click that "Next" crash every time.

trying to run as admin refuses to launch the game and keeps asking me verify the files no matter how many times i verify them

edit: for anyone else the crash was caused cause i was trying to sway my vassel as they wre talking about it and the next step is they want you to sway the bishop im guessing that causes some grand error

You do not need to grant CK3 admin rights. It is generally not recommended to provide admin privileges to a program without understanding its purpose for needing those privileges.

no mods and i answered the rest of that in the post 3 crashes same spot

just one other thing comes into my mind you can try to identify the cause of the crash, you can look up the crash logs, which can be found in the following directories:

• Windows: C:\Users%USERNAME%\Documents\Paradox Interactive\Crusader Kings III\logs
  
• Mac: ~/Documents/Paradox Interactive/Crusader Kings III/logs/

You can open the logs using a text editor.
However some knowledge about the game or computing in general is required

I have the same problem trying to follow the tutorial. I run it on an M1 Mac. I know it's not the most optimized but has been running everything else fine. Did you have any new ideas what may cause it?

Unable to play game - crash on start

My game won't even open. I get on the launcher, and boom, game crashes and the launcher shuts down. My game where crashing at a point, and I suppose that's why the game doesn't even open now that the new DLC is opened

Game does the same for me on start. It tries to load, freezes, then crashes. I'm running on a Mac Studio. The game worked fine until the update. When I tried to upload the crash report, it said failed and wouldn't let me. lol

It's same for me - I suppose it's the PARADOX Laucher V2....

Same thing with me. I can run the game as admin, opening it through the steam files rather than the paradox launcher. It also seems to effect my other Paradox games, causing the launcher to crash for them to. I can uninstall launcher and reinstall and it fixes it for Vic3, for example, but not CK3. Definitely problem with launcher

same thing had to open it with no mods and delete my old files and start a new game smh
