How to solve the Checksum problem?
Please, avoid answer the repetitive s* of "uninstall and reinstall again, make sure you have the same dlcs/mods".

Is there any official and definitive solution for the checksum problem? I can't imagine myself having to do 356 steps before every LoL match, so I don't understand why I have to lose 300h everytime I want to play multiplayer ck3 with someone just because of this checksum ♥♥♥♥ that any solution works.

Do you know what's causing the cheksum problem?

Most commonly, it involves mods.
There's also console command/debug that causes cheksum.errors.

There're conflicting mods, or one of you have debug mode enabled, most likely.

Make sure one of you doesn't have any launch arguments on their .exe. In particular, I had forgotten I turned the console on and it was giving me a different checksum way back when I did multiplayer.

Did you read what I wrote? Because I literally started with:

"Please, avoid answer the repetitive s* of "uninstall and reinstall again, make sure you have the same dlcs/mods"."

Thank you! How can I check the launch arguments?

In your games library, right click on CK3 and it will show on the general tab under properties

I did not say "uninstall and reinstall again, make sure you have the same dlcs/mods."

So yes, I read what you wrote.

Edit: checksums tend to be 3 issues. Mods, debug mode, or incompatible versions (rare, but user could be beta-toggled and not on most updated file).

So lets get this straight, you mean you're having checksum problems even with no mods installed/activated? Is that right?
