Most seem to have just two slots, I have seen one with one slot. Also have seen "special" slots with a golden border that only allows you to build a special building. IE gold mine.
867 start. If you're in 1066 it's probably more developed.
Where/when are you starting? Some areas are more wealthy than others.
Started a new campaign with Norse on 867 start and all settlements at least tribal ones, have just 2 slots, + the special slot some places.
+1 for the county capital
+1 tribal innovations (Ledger)
+1 early medieval innovations (Bailiffs)
+2 high medieval innovations (Guilds and Windmills)
Appreciate this. I know it's fairly obvious once you start playing but I just updated yesterday and was trying to find where you could increase them.
Also there is a new game rule to get up to +3 free domain limit.
And there are some really powerful new eco buildngs. the wind/watermills and caravanserai. Make sure to build these after unlocking them in high medieval.
