Not going to buy if the game is crashing.
UPDATE: I got the game from a friend and it froze once and required a hard reset, but then I managed to play it after that without crashes.

Long time ck2 fan, I held out a long to buy this one because I knew it would require time to have enough content. But I come to the store page to find out the game is crashing with the latest DLC update.

Whats going on? Is the game constantly crashing? For months now? Is paradox silent? Is it even worth to buy this one? I played it on gamepass and it did looked like an improvement frm ck2, but if basic functions are crashing I guess Ill pass on this one and maybe just buy some stellaris dlc.

I feel like a bit of a fool myself, wanted to get back into the game and bought a bunch of dlc.

Game crashes constantly, and bricks my entire pc in the process. can't even refund dlc.

They fob off the problem on microsoft or intel, but the fact is out of all the games I play and whatever else i do on my pc, ONLY ck3 causes this, so this is their mess to fix.
Wow i'm glad to know its not just me recently returned to playing after a long hiatus and i can't even go 5-10 years without a crash starting to become very annoying!

its crazy, I got a laptop which is horrible by default, with a 2070 and a 10th gen i7 with only 16gb ram. I was able to run mhw and kcd 2. But Im now afraid if ck3 will even run (im waiting for more ram to arrive as Ill at least improve that).

I know my rig is not powerful and if people are getting that many crashes with a new dlc Ill probably have trouble too.

I have a free ck3 gift, if you want it. I can add you and gift it to you. I already have ck3, so I don't have use for it. I would like to give it to somebody who can appreciate it and it seems to be that would.

I got you covered.
I've had no issues with CK3, personally, and I've certainly played more CK3 than the average player. Remember, the vast majority of people don't write a review to say "Everything is working fine!" Everything working fine is the expectation; it's not worth writing a review over.

As for worries of "constant crashing," you should easily be able to detect such issues within the 2 hour refund window, if they are actually so prevalent.
Can confirm its crashing. I didnt even started the game. Was talking to some friends while had the starting screen open, before selecting my character.

Froze my entire computer and I had to restart it to be able to use it again. Wow
i dont have any crashes at all lol.

waiting for a fix soon, seems to be a win11 issue but i am just guessing, would recommend rolling back to an older version of the game that is probably more stable but has less features if you wanna play now
Yea it's wild...some people having trouble. I'm not. seems rather good. Top end system though...

OG statement ... Not going to buy if (insert stuff) ... yea alright ... dont. This game is like buying shoes... don't buy a brand you don't like, even if you buy a great brand, still may feel off, get blisters after wearing a bit, tight in middle, cramping the toes...I mean...honestly don't buy something you aren't exactly thrilled about.

CH4 gonna add a bunch more stuff sucking down on PC load (mem, cpu, graphics).

only thing that might be an issue with the coming features is how it seems like the pc requirements currently stated on the store might need to be updated, for the sake of transparency
