Why is Era Zaharrak (new Basque faith) uninvolved?
I played and formed the newly available Era Zaharrak faith as an involved ruler in the Iberian Struggle. The game says new faiths born within the struggle become involved. But my new faith is uninvolved.
Does anybody know if that's intentional? Should it be?
I think it's kinda stupid to make it uninvolved because there is barely a reason to get the faith if the drawback is losing most Struggle benefits.

I guess I have to start a new character because this playthrough is really boring now.

that's strange, I'm currently doing a playthrough where I started as the Duke of Gascogne, then crossed the pyrenees to later form the kingdom of Navarre. I later took the decision to change my faith from catholicism to Era Zaharrak just for fun. And the struggle pannel definitely says my faith is involved.

My ruler himself is currently not involved because his capital is in Bordeaux but all my vassals with land in Iberia proper are also followers of Era Zaharrak and they are all tagged as involved in the struggle.

Your faith isn't new, but is rather a resurrected old faith.

You need to have 80% of the faith's territory IN Iberia. So you either have no counties of that faith or too much in France.

That's not the case. After a few years the faith became involved.

Pretty sure that's not 100% correct but it could be something in that direction.
Maybe you just have to wait though. The faith became involved after a few years but I'm pretty sure that I still had over 20% of the faith's territory in France. Either way, the problem seems to resolve itself after some time.

Well that's what the wiki says and has been my experience. Also your vassals may have been converting or even leaked out to independents. While they're loath to convert culture, they'll change faith on a dime.
