How to get a female emporer of the holy roman empire?
Hello
My character has the title emperor (Kaiser) of the holy roman empire as well as king of Bavaria. My main heir is my daughter who will get the King title but not the emperor title. Right now only male heirs can get the title. But if I set one of my sons as heir in the election, the son will be the player heir. But the daughter will get the powerful titles like king of bavaria. The male player heir would be a powerless emperor. So how can I get a female emperor?
There is the option to change the law, but that would cost 10500 prestige, which is way more I could collect until my character dies. Is there another way to solve that problem?

Kill your son.... sorry couldn't resist.

Hmm holy roman empire is still the most complex government system.
Cause of the vassal opinion, and their preference for agnatic succession.
So vote for your daughter, as heir...
And try to sway other dukes and factions to love you, so they will obey your chosen heir.
Failing that just ... eh make them sleep forever, if they are still such a bothersome vassal.

In History the Holy Roman Empire can not be inherited by a female ever, because the Pope would forbid this.

Females should have lower Legitimacy than Male Rulers in male-dominated Faiths.

+ Females being the Holy Roman Emperor should be at the lowest Legitimacy Level and should never be able to increase, as long the Holy Roman Empire is under an male-dominated Faith.

This should of course the opposite, for female-dominated Faiths.

IF you have piety and half the prestige you need to reform law, just make a new religion, and let all your vassals convert, then destroy the holy roman empire title, all countries and kings will get independence, just re-convert again to catholic (just clean a bit the pope butt), and then free casus belli for all of your old vassals with your daughter as her future queen xD.
Just remove the succession law for 750 prestige. The game literally just gave me a throne decision to make my daughter primary Heir and disinherit my son in my HRE; soon to be Roman.

Thats not going to help with Holy Roman Empire. Its affected by its own princely elective law which is separate from your crown succession law. Afaik the only way to get rid of the princely elective law is to remove it for the cost of 10500 prestige, and then have your crown succession law (which comes into effect after the removal) be whatever you want it to be.

Remove election law from HRE title, create new faith
